So the annual NaPoWriMo – write a poem a day, for the whole of April – started yesterday, and I thought that it would be a good idea to participate purely to practice writing poems. Who knows, I might actually turn out to be okay at them!!
Instead of writing one poem every day of April, I would like to write one poem every TWO days of April. So here goes for the first two days!!!
Looking at the pane,
I gaze through in vain,
As the trees dance,
Slowly as the glance,
Moves to what it only can,
Be as the van,
Leaves the trees standing,
Alone on the landing.
I am not sure whether that makes any sense… But it’s a start!!
Are any of you participating in this year’s NaPoWriMo?
