NaPoWriMo: Day Three and Four

So day three and four are upon us yet I am still poem-less! (well until after this post anyhow.)

Here Goes!

The black birds sing,

Sing from their souls,

The bliss and hiss,

Of the rules,

That must obey,

Yet they are nothing,

Compared to today.

NaPoWriMo: Day One and Two

So the annual NaPoWriMo – write a poem a day, for the whole of April – started yesterday, and I thought that it would be a good idea to participate purely to practice writing poems. Who knows, I might actually turn out to be okay at them!!

Instead of writing one poem every day of April, I would like to write one poem every TWO days of April. So here goes for the first two days!!!

Looking at the pane,

I gaze through in vain,

As the trees dance,

Slowly as the glance,

Moves to what it only can,

Be as the van,

Leaves the trees standing,

Alone on the landing.

I am not sure whether that makes any sense… But it’s a start!!
